I'm definitely not the only queer and/or neurospicy person who needs to hear this song again and again, particularly in the actual sociopolitical context trans and non-binary people are facing all around the world. I mean, not only the message is beautiful and your voice is amazing as always, but as far as representation goes, to hear a song just casually using the singular they, it lets me connect directly with the words and their meaning. So often I've attempted to queer up some songs by changing he/she for they so that I could actually relate to them a bit more, and for once, not having to even think about it...for once, I feel I'm also deserving of hearing those words, that my queer self is also worthy, valid, seen. 🏳‍⚧✊🏽💛🤍💜🖤

I heard that one for the first time last night at your show. It hit me right in the feels, as someone who used to burn the candle by both ends at the same time and who is now fighting daily to keep whatever flame is remaining alive.
